The Hand of Someone I strolled to our mailbox, praying that I would not hate the mailman. Praying he would not make my day any worse and making me any closer to getting myself killed. The boxes squeak was covered up by my sigh of relief. Inside was a letter of word from my son, Peter. It read, in true 11year old fashion, as follows: Dear Mom and Dad, School is going great! Im learning lots of things I never knew before and Im making all kinds of friends I never would have met had I not come here. I know every kid has to do it but I feel like Im getting the most out ofThe Hand of Someone

Hearing AirI choreograph my life around a waistline. Past girlfriends tell me they’re doing fine But I don’t really care Once they’re in their own life and out of mine. Pick and choose the crop like you know What to look for but I know you don’t Scarcely do I pretend to care It doesn’t seem necessary to show.Hearing Air
I dance my way around the frontline Skipping stones to pretend I feel fine. It’ll never scar me again Once I let heal this wrist line. A literal meaning to a metaphor Is what I revolve my day looking for. I put my own sun in the sky Just hoping flowers

Found IneffectiveWe'll sit like children on sandcastles Watch the tide roll in. Wash the little bodies out past the ridge. Abled bodies hold onto the free space Between sanction and disgrace. We'll hold true with what we said at first Save it for the last resort. Calm sunk beneath the screaming minds But told not what it had in mind to bury the pier in garbage and faith year after year. Jets lined the sky as a permanent fix With cluster bombs thrown into the mix We're shattered shards of metal bits all sharpened for one purpose.Found Ineffective

dance for lifeFor the sake of us all, let's dance And show everybody that we don't know how to move our feet. But also that we don't care how they look at us Because we can move any way we'd like to.dance for life
In the midst of life, let's sing And make ourselves look stupid because of our cracking voices. But we wouldn't look stupid to ourselves Because we can laugh like nobody else can.

I hear
your voice
down the hall, through the window, above
all those trees, a light
it seems
& you are singing. What song

...and so I love you and all that jazz
hope everything is going well for you!
